  1. AcademicsHow Do You Learn Best?
    Traditional Classroom: Read at home on your own, then meet with an instructor to review the knowledge face-to- face, ask questions, and be more hands-on with gear. Flexible scheduling available.
    OR
    On-Line Learning: Work from your home to complete the learning online and then meet one time with an instructor for a review of any difficulties and a verification quiz.
  2. Pool SessionsLearn On Your Pace At Pool Develop and practice scuba skills in a pool under direct instructor supervision. As you learn new skills at your own pace, you’ll build the abilities and confidence needed for diving in open water, such as in a lake or the ocean. People take on average 4 pool sessions to master the skills. The cost of your lessons includes up to 6 pools sessions if you need the time at no extra charge. Currently we use 3 local pools. 
  3. Open Water Training DivesGet ready to experience everything you’ve learned with the freedom of open water. As soon as your open water training dives are approved by your instructor you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, enabling you to embark on unforgettable adventures.

    What is the time commitment?

    ATA Certification courses are performance-based. We want you to progress at your own pace. We want safe, competent, and prepared divers. You can get done in just a few days if you’re comfortable or take longer if you need it. We create a class schedule based on your needs—we are almost completely flexible.

    Essential Gear

    The fit and comfort of your personal equipment are keys to having an enjoyable diving experience. At a minimum, you’ll want your own mask, snorkel, boots and fins. you begin your first course. Our Best Value Package includes all the gear. All other required gear: BCD, tanks, weights, wetsuit, Regulator, and Computer are provided in your lesson package.

      • Contact the shop or purchase the session through our online shop.
    2. Get Ready!
      • Come into the shop and get fitted for gear, sign some paperwork and participate in a short safety lesson.
    3. Do It!
      • Join us at the pool for underwater fun & learning. By then end of the session you will have laughed, had fun, and know whether scuba is for your or not.

    What does it cost?

    A Discover Scuba Session is $60 per person.

    If you sign up for lessons within 2 weeks of the Discover Scuba, we take $25 off your lesson price.

    What is the time commitment?

    It takes about an hour to get fitted for gear and do the lesson. You can save some time by filing out the paperwork ahead of time. We even have an online code for the lesson for a slight upcharge. The pool session is generally 1 to 2 hours long depending on how much fun people are having and whether you get cold or not. We don’t rush you.

    • Certification Along with Full Gear Package Purchase or Drysuit Purchase — Deduct $100 off any of the above

    • Group Discount: Group of 3 = $25 off pp/Group of 4 = $75 off pp/Group of 5 = $100 pp /Group of 6 or more = $150 off pp

    • $199 Companion Refresher allows you to complete all components of training with your future dive buddy.

    1If you need done last minute and it cannot fit in with our normal schedule, there may be additional charges for private/add-on sessions. Schedule Changes may incur additional costs.
    2Personal gear must be chosen from our extensive selection of normally stocked personal gear. Special Order Items may cost additional. Fin & Mask Upgrades available.
    3 Two Days of Quarry fees. Local Venues are: Blue Hole, White Star, & Crusty’s Quarry. Dutch Springs is a $50 up charge due to higher costs.
    4If Advanced Open Water is Purchased at the same time, or within 6 months of completion of Open Water Training.
    5With any of the packages you are responsible for your own transportation costs to all components of the course & training dives.
